Climate Control Unit for Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA)
SKYLARK is the member of the ARECA family developed for Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA). CEA is the umbrella term for greenhouse, indoor and vertical farming systems in which growing conditions such as temperature, humidity, light and CO₂ are partly or fully controlled.
In facilities largely independent of the outdoor climate and daylight, climate control is a process requirement rather than a comfort feature: the heat from LED lighting and the moisture plants release through transpiration must be removed at the same time, and the room must stay balanced as these loads change with the lighting cycle and growth stage. SKYLARK is designed to manage temperature, humidity and airflow together in line with the crop recipe.
